RNLI visit

As part of our ‘splish, splash, splosh’ we had a very exciting morning today when the RNLI came to visit us to tell us all about the work that they do, how we can stay safe near water and what to do in case of an emergency.

The children learnt some new facts and learnt a new song too. They even got to try on lots of RNLI uniform!

I’m sure they will tell you all about it this evening… Here’s some photos to get you started!

RNLI tip: Remember to always swim at a beach that has a lifeguard. The children all went home with a sticker on with a useful website for you to have a look at.

P.S if anybody has an old blow up dingy (similar to the one seen in the photo) that they no longer want and would like to donate, we would love to create a RNLI role play area in class and would be very appreciative! Thank you!
