This week we have been using our guttering system to create ramps for toy cars to go down. First we estimated how many feet the car would go. Then we sent the car down the ramp and measured how many feet it had actually gone. When measuring we had to ensure that there were no gaps in between our feet. We had to use our balancing skills. This is called measuring using non- standard units. We recorded all this information in a table making sure that we had written the units we used too!
